About Mike Thompson
Mike Thompson is a seasoned trainer, coach, and consultant with over 17 years of experience in both social services and workplace safety. Holding a Master’s of Business Administration from American Intercontinental University, Mike brings a wealth of knowledge to his work, having earned certifications as a Workplace Stability Trainer, a Bridges Out of Poverty Trainer, and a Global Priority Solutions Facilitator.
Throughout his career, Mike has worked extensively with under-resourced individuals, helping to develop and implement impactful programs while facilitating educational outreaches for both businesses and communities. His deep commitment to supporting others is reflected in his experience facilitating over 1,000 support group sessions, where he coached clients in transition housing on life skills and personal development, often guiding them through challenging and traumatic circumstances.
In addition to his social services background, Mike has spent more than 13 years in workplace safety, where he has hosted and facilitated more than 200 training events and produced an award-winning safety podcast with over 300 episodes.
Now, as a speaker, coach & consultant, Mike leverages his diverse experience to help organizations improve leadership, communication, connection, and culture, enabling them to create healthier, more productive work environments. His unique combination of social services expertise and workplace safety knowledge allows him to approach challenges from multiple perspectives, driving meaningful change and fostering lasting success.
